A Smile Worth the Flight to Los Angeles
For more than two decades, patients have flown into Los Angeles from across the country and around the world for the same hand of the artist who shaped some of Hollywood's most photographed smiles. Treatment is sequenced into two carefully planned trips, coordinated with a concierge approach to flights, hotels, and recovery, so a full porcelain veneer transformation fits into roughly a week of travel.
The Direct Answer
Dr. Jon Marashi treats out-of-town patients in his Brentwood, Los Angeles practice through a two-trip concierge pathway. Trip one is three to four days for consultation, preparation, and provisional veneers. Trip two, four to eight weeks later, is two to three days for final bonding and polish. The office is about fifteen to twenty minutes from LAX, and the concierge team coordinates hotel, transport, and scheduling.

Traveling for Treatment
How many trips to Los Angeles will a full veneer case take?
Most full-arch porcelain veneer cases are completed in two trips. The first trip is three to four days for consultation, preparation, and provisional veneers. The second trip, four to eight weeks later, is two to three days for final bonding and polish. We schedule both trips at booking so you can plan flights and hotels well in advance.
Can I do a remote consultation before flying in?
Yes. Dr. Marashi reviews photos and video of your smile before you book a flight. You receive an honest first read on candidacy, the likely scope of treatment, and a fee range, so the first in-person visit is a confirmation rather than a discovery.
Where do most fly-in patients stay?
Most patients stay on the Westside, within ten minutes of the Brentwood office. Hotel Bel-Air, The Maybourne Beverly Hills, the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica, and Shutters on the Beach are the most frequent choices. The concierge team can recommend the right fit and coordinate airport transfers.
Which airport should I fly into?
Los Angeles International (LAX) is closest, about fifteen to twenty minutes from the Brentwood practice depending on traffic. Burbank (BUR) and Long Beach (LGB) are workable alternatives, and the Van Nuys jet center is convenient for private travel.
How are payments handled for out-of-town patients?
The $475 consultation is paid at booking. Treatment fees are presented in a written plan after your in-person evaluation, with a clear schedule tied to your two trips. We accept major cards, bank transfer, and CareCredit.
Do you treat international patients?
Yes. A meaningful portion of our practice flies in from London, Dubai, Toronto, Sydney, and Mexico City. Treatment is coordinated around your travel calendar, with extended visits when needed to compress the timeline.
